Seth Horowitz is the CEO of Baked by Melissa, the New York City-based bakery famous for its bite-size cupcakes and treats.  Since joining the Company in 2016, Horowitz has re-focused the company on the consumer experience.  This has included significant investments directed at customer happiness, prioritization of online distribution and a seamless omnichannel execution.  As a result, Baked by Melissa is experiencing exceptional growth and financial performance. Horowitz has an impressive 18 years of experience in executive roles, scaling successful consumer businesses such as Modell’s Sporting Goods and Everlast Worldwide. During his tenure as President of Modell’s Sporting Goods, he was credited with revamping the 122-year-old chain's 150 stores and breathing new life into the family-owned business with $650M in annual revenue. As CEO of Everlast Worldwide, a publicly traded company, Horowitz launched the brand’s first e-commerce site and expanded the wholesale and licensing businesses to achieve record financial results. Under his leadership, he grew annual sales from $150M to $700M and led a successful sale of the company.
